Psychiatrist, Adult Residential & Adolescent Residential: 

Contract physician needed for 12 hours per week split between adult residential and adolescent residential programs.  Schedule is flexible and location is in Thornton.  Complete diagnostic reviews, assessment and follow-up with clients and staff.  Provide medication management and on-call consultation to program staff and nurses.  Psychiatrist must have a minimum of two years experience with adult and adolescent services, be currently licensed in Colorado and be a Medicaid provider.  Experience working in the field of addictions preferred.  Closing date:  10/09/08

On-call position available at our Littleton location.  Supervise and teach children while their mothers participate in treatment services. Establish effective relationships with children and their mothers.  Requirements include a minimum of one year experience working with children ages six weeks to five years and Group Leader qualified as determined by state (may be met by documented experience, a Bachelor’s degree, child development/early childhood education courses, etc.).  Closing date: 10/09/08

This part time position will provide off hours call assistance to the agency On Call Pool. The successful candidate will cover the on call phone from home based on the following schedule: Monday thru Friday 5:00pm-11:30pm and 5:30am-7:30am, Saturday and Sunday 5:30am-11:30 pm.  Must be available to occasionally work during the day (Monday-Friday) to provide vacation coverage for the On Call Coordinator.  Closing date:  10/09/08

Care Coordinator, Adolescent Residential: 

 

Full time position in Thornton.  Provide clinical and administrative supervision to clinical team providing care for adolescent residential clients who are dually diagnosed.  Responsible for overall operations of program.  Ensure compliance in all regulatory and licensure matters; oversee program budget.  Provide onsite training and clinical supervision as necessary.  Requirements include a Master’s degree in Human Services, a minimum of two years documentable experience working with adolescents, and a minimum of one year direct supervisory experience. Current Colorado Licensure required as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW.  Colorado Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) II required, CAC III preferred.  Closing date: 10/16/08

 


 

Case Manager, Female Offender Program:

Fulltime position (32 hours) working 12:00pm to 8:30pm Friday thru Monday in Littleton (near Broadway & Belleview).  New residential program starting for female offenders with substance  abuse and other co-occurring behavioral health issues.  Provide intakes, assessments, discharges and case management duties including individual client contact and linkage/service coordination.  Provide milieu management, support counseling activities record keeping and effective documentation.  Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field –and-     a Certified Addictions Counselor II. Prefer experience working with females and/or the offender population. Closing Date: 10/09/08

 


Counselor I, Adult Residential:  

Part time position in Thornton working Saturday and Sunday 3:30pm to 12:00am. Provides group facilitation, milieu management, charting, and family education to clients in an adult residential situation.  Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and/or Certified Addictions Counselor II.  Closing date:  10/09/08

Full time positions working Sunday thru Thursday 3pm to 11pm in Wheat Ridge.  Individual will provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients undergoing detoxification. Requirements include either a Bachelors Degree in  Human Services        or a Certified Addictions Counselor I.  Six months experience in a helping     profession required. Entry level position for someone with a bachelors degree in a related field. Closing date:    10/09/08

Conduct Level II DUI and psych/social classes in outpatient setting.  Requirements include a Certified Addiction Counselor II and/or a Master’s degree in Human Services or related field, group facilitation experience, reliable transportation, and willingness to work at different locations throughout the metro area.  Schedule requires availability working evenings and Saturday days.  Excellent pay. Counselor II On-Call, Cultural Services, Bilingual (Spanish):  

On-Call position in Metro Denver. Individuals will provide group counseling and intake/assessment of individuals with substance abuse problems. Candidate must have the ability to communicate fluently in Spanish, verbally and in writing.  Ability to maintain positive working relationships with other professionals involved with the client.  Requirements include Certified Addictions Counselor II (or a Masters degree in a related field with 1000 hours documentable experience in substance abuse). Milieu Counselor On Call: 

Provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients in detoxification or residential treatment programs.  This is an entry-level opportunity to gain experience in the substance abuse field.  Requirements include one year full-time college or equivalent, one year work experience in a service industry, reliable transportation, and willingness to work at different locations throughout the metro area.  Schedule requires availability working a variety of shifts including weekend, overnight and evenings.  Excellent pay.  Free access to Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) classes.  Closing date: Ongoing

 


Peer Mentor, Wright Center: 

Full time position with the Transitional  Residential Treatment program (TRT) in Wheat Ridge working varied shifts.  Provides treatment services to offenders in a residential program in Wheat Ridge.  Interact with the client population to provide guidance, safety, stability and direction.  Additional duties include supporting staff to assist clients in overcoming social and emotional problems, facilitating meetings and preparing minimal written reports.  Motivational interviewing is the primary approach used in working with clients.  Requirements include a High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience and education. Candidate must have experience with recovery and at least six months free of drug and alcohol abuse.  Compensation includes room/board plus minimum wage for hours worked.  Closing date: 10/09/08


 

Phone Counselor, Information and Access, Bilingual (Spanish): 

 

Part time position working Monday thru Friday 1:00pm-5:00pm in Thornton. Primary duty is phone counseling.  Assess client needs and level of treatment for addictions, make appointments and complete paperwork.  Requirements include a minimum of one year phone experience with a high volume of calls and high school diploma/GED.  Must have excellent data entry skills, typing skills  and customer service.  Prefer experience in a human services and/or non-profit environment.  Position requires that individual must be able to speak and read English and Spanish fluently.   Prefer flexibility in schedule to provide support and additional coverage on unit as needed.      Closing date:  10/09/08

Full-time position working Tuesday, Wednesday 12:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday thru Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm in Westminster.  This is a residential program for women and their dependent children focusing primarily on pregnant women with substance abuse and other co-occurring issues.  Clinical responsibility for women in the program, including individual therapy, group therapy, case management activities and record-keeping.  Requirements include a Certified Addictions Counselor II (required) and a minimum of two years related experience.  Master’s degree in Human Services preferred, but related experience may substitute if related and applicable.  Closing date:  10/16/08

Shift Supervisor, StepWise Adolescent Residential: 

 

Full time position working Sunday thru Thursday swing shift in Thornton.  Supervise and coordinate milieu staff and clients, develop and implement staff schedules, and assist Care Coordinator.  Evaluate files, reports and logs, and participate in staff meetings.  Responsible for hiring milieu staff, assist with performance reviews and provide clinical supervision to milieu staff. Requirements include Certified Addictions Counselor III, a minimum of two years related experience and one year supervisory experience.  Closing date: 10/09/08
